What is Bump?

Bump is a 10-week program aimed at optimising the chances of success of IVF. Our program focuses on using exercise, dietary advice and programming to optimise the bodies biochemistry in preparing for, and during the IVF process.

Small groups (4 patients + partners if desired by the patient) are guided through our program by our Fertility Specialist, Dr Stephen Bradford, and Leap Health Dietitian and Physiotherapists to ensure our patients achieve the best results possible.

What does Bump include?

  • 10 group fitness classes with a trained Physiotherapist
  • 10 weeks of individualised fitness plans
  • 4 individual consults with a trained Dietitian
  • 10 weeks of individualised meal plans with recipes + much more!

 

Our Bump Program Structure

Our Bump program is structured as per the below;

 

Week 1

Duration: 90 minutes

  • Introduction to the program and reasoning/evidence behind it explained to the group.
  • Individual 15 minute consultation with our Dietitan detailing your eating plan for the first 3 weeks, the reasons behind this plan, as well as two objective measures taken.
  • Individual exercise capability determined and first weeks exercise program set out by our Physiotherapist.

 

Week 2 and 3

Duration: 60 minutes

  • Review previous week of exercise.
  • 45 min group exercise session.
  • Next week’s exercise plan detailed.

 

Week 4

Duration: 60 minutes

  • Review previous week of exercise.
  • 45 min group exercise session.
  • Next week’s exercise plan detailed.
  • 15 min review with our Dietitian. Eating plan for next 3 weeks set out and objective measures taken.

 

Week 5 and 6

Duration 60 mins

  • Review previous week of exercise.
  • 45 min group exercise session.
  • Next week’s exercise plan detailed.

 

Week 7

Duration 60 minutes

  • Review previous week of exercise..
  • 45 min group exercise session
  • Next week’s exercise plan detailed.
  • 15 min Review with our Dietitian. Eating plan for next 3 weeks set out and objective measures taken.

 

Weeks 8 and 9

Duration 60 minutes

  • Review previous week of exercise.
  • 45 min group exercise session.
  • Next week’s exercise plan detailed.

 

Week 10

Duration: 90 minutes

  • Review previous week of exercise.
  • 45 min group exercise session.
  • On-going exercise for healthy lifestyle plan detailed.
  • 15 min review with our Dietitian. Including ongoing ‘healthy eating’ advice provide and future planning discussed. Objective measures taken and referenced against goals.
  • Review of program.
