Anna Jostrand

Anna Jostrand

Physiotherapist
Burnie

Originally from Sweden, Anna made the move to Australia in 2010 after completing a ski season in Canada. She graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the Australian Catholic University (ACU) in Brisbane in 2016.

Anna spent the first four years of her career working in a busy private practice in Brisbane, where she developed a broad range of clinical skills and a particular interest in chronic pain management, sports injuries and rehabilitation, occupational health, women’s health, and paediatric musculoskeletal conditions. She later established her own physiotherapy practice before undertaking locum roles in aged care across regional New South Wales and Tasmania.

Now happily settled on Tasmania’s beautiful North West Coast, Anna is excited to join the Leap Health team and become part of the local community. She has a special interest in running assessments and treating running-related injuries, having worked closely with running and triathlon clubs throughout Queensland.

Outside of work, Anna and her partner love making the most of Tasmania’s stunning outdoors, spending their time hiking, climbing, fishing and camping.

Anna is a caring, hands-on physiotherapist who values building genuine relationships with her patients. She takes a collaborative approach to care and is passionate about helping people achieve their goals, whether they’re returning to sport, recovering from injury, or simply getting back to doing the things they love. We are thrilled to welcome Anna to the Leap Health team and know she will be a wonderful addition to our North West community.
