1. Dietitian Job – Hobart.

Leap Health is looking for a motivated Dietitian to join our Kingston team with flexible hours and the potential to expand to other locations. We are a dynamic group of six Allied Health practices that service Greater Hobart. This role is fantastic for a motivated new graduate, or an experienced clinician with a pre existing caseload ready to go. Our team consists of Physiotherapists, Dietitians, Exercise Physiologists, Massage Therapists, Podiatrists and Osteopaths. The role:

  • 3-5 days a week, hours and days are flexible to allow work/life balance
  • Mixture of clinic work, home visits and telehealth
  • Mentoring available from Senior Dietitian
  • Remuneration negotiable, dependent on experience
  • Full reception and support
  • Fully furnished room
  • Excellent administrative and IT support, including the provision of a laptop
  • Access to state of the art gym facilities and VALD isometric testing frames in each clinic
  • Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of exercise physiology, physiotherapy, podiatry and dietetics
  • Mixture of Private, NDIS, work cover, MAIB, Medicare and Community Clients
  • Annual CPD allowance to spend on courses of your choosing
  • Regular in-house seminars with all disciplines (Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology and Dietetics) that include external guest presenters

 

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Dietetics
  • Dietitians Australia Member and indemnity insurance
  • Confident managing a varied case load including chronic health conditions, gut health and paediatrics
  • A current Australian driver’s license
  • The ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including demonstrated experience interacting with a wide range of people

 

2. Physiotherapy Jobs – Hobart.

We are looking for two motivated Physiotherapists (Experienced and New Graduates encouraged to apply) to join the Leap Health team at our Salamanca and Kingston Practices. You will be exposed to a varied private practice caseload. Professional development is encouraged and supported both in-house and externally.

 

Your role:

  • Provision of evidence-based physiotherapy services to a predominantly musculoskeletal private caseload
  • Opportunities to work with specific client groups (e.g. NDIS, aged care, work cover, home visits)
  • Opportunities to work with elite level athletes and sports teams (Leap Health currently holds contracts with Hockey Tasmania and numerous sporting clubs)
  • We will tailor the role to suit your areas of clinical interest
  • Structured mentoring available for new grads

 

Skills we are seeking:

  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with a wide range of people
  • An unwavering desire to provide the highest quality patient care, with a strong focus on restoring pain free, full function without the need for ongoing treatment

 

Essential requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
  • Current full AHPRA registration
  • Current Australian driver’s license

An exciting opportunity exists for a Podiatrist to join the Leap Health team in 2022. We are a dynamic group of six Allied Health practices that service Greater Hobart. This role is fantastic for a motivated new graduate, or an experienced clinician looking for a lifestyle change to scenic Tasmania. To make the move easier we are also offering a generous relocation contribution.

 

The role will include:

  • Provision of all aspects of podiatry services ranging from general foot care to sports and bio-mechanical assessment
  • The opportunity to quickly build a caseload both in clinic and off-site
  • Access to state of the art gym facilities and VALD isometric testing frames in each clinic (see video below)

  • Clinical mentoring from our Senior Podiatrist
