Exciting opportunities exist to join the Leap Health Team. Leap Health operates five Physiotherapy and Allied Health clinics across Greater Hobart. We have positions available in clinic and within our aged care team.

1. Aged Care – Physiotherapist / Occupational Therapist

The role will include:

  • Provision of health services in Aged Care (ACFI funded) 25+ hours per week
  • Remuneration of $40-$50/hour including super
  • Flexible working hours
  • The opportunity to build an additional clientbase of home visits
  • Excellent administrative support
  • A working with vulnerable people registration (this is required for any external contractural clients including aged care)
  • A current police check (this is required for any external contractural clients including aged care)

2. Private Practice Physiotherapist

The role will include:

  • A wide variety of work within our modern, well equipped clinics
  • A well-supported team environment with regular in-service evenings
  • Working within a team of Allied Health professionals
  • Encouragement to actively pursue ongoing external education courses with financial support
  • The opportunity to work with elite level athletes and sports teams

3. Physiotherapist and senior clinician role

The role includes but is not limited to:

  • Reporting to the MD regarding the support of clinical staff
  • Assisting in the development of organisational structures to maximise clinical productivity
  • Being held accountable for day to day operations
  • The management of customer relations, staff performance and personnel development.
  • Overseeing of asset maintenance and operating procedures

To be considered for any of the above roles you also must have:

  • A tertiary qualification in your relevant field
  • Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration or relevant association
  • A current Australian driver’s license
  • The ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including demonstrated experience interacting with a wide range of people
  • An unwavering desire to provide the highest quality patient care with a strong focus on restoring pain free, full function without the need for on-going treatment.
