Alex Dilger

Physiotherapist
Rosny and Salamanca

Alex grew up in Queenstown on the West Coast of Tasmania, but left to study Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University in Albury, NSW. Since graduating in 2019 Alex returned to the North West Coast of Tasmania and has been working in Ulverstone and Devonport before his move down to the South of the State.

Alex enjoyed his outpatient musculoskeletal placements during his time at Uni and this lead him to pursuing a career in private practice. Alex enjoys treating sports related injuries and assisting athletes in meeting their goals. He also has a specific interest in lower limb injuries of the knee, ankle and foot.

Alex has completed the GLA:D course which is an intensive course around osteoarthritis and how to prevent or treat in individuals who are at high risk. Alex has been running this program on the North West Coast and is excited to bring it to the South of the State.

Outside of work you will find Alex playing football or social basketball. He has a french bulldog named Otis who enjoys accompanying him on camping trips in his converted Toyota HiAce that he did up as a COVID project.
