Alex Dilger

Alex grew up in Queenstown on the West Coast of Tasmania prior to studying Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University in Albury, NSW. Since graduating in 2019 Alex returned to the North West Coast of Tasmania and worked in Ulverstone and Devonport before making the move down to the South of the State.

Alex enjoyed his outpatient musculoskeletal placements during his time at Uni which led him to pursuing a career in private practice.

Alex now returns to full time hours at Leap Health having concluded his first season working with the Tasmania Jackjumpers for the 2022/23 NBL season as one of their Physios as well as Team Manager.

Alex has a keen interest in treating sports related injuries and assisting athletes in meeting their goals. He also has a specific interest in low back pain and lower limb injuries of the knee and ankle.

Outside of work you will find Alex playing football, in the gym or spending time with his dog.

Alex works out of our Salamanca and Kingston clinics.
