Pip provides specialist nutrition care to infants, children and teenagers. She uses a practical, evidence-based approach to support families to improve the growth, nutrition and development of their child, whilst considering their individualised needs. She enjoys using food play in her sessions and regularly works alongside other therapists, including Speech Pathologists, OTs and Physiotherapists, to help achieve her patient’s goals. Pip has experience working with children in large tertiary hospitals, both in Melbourne and England.
Pip is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) that has a particular interest in supporting children with:
- Faltering growth
- Selective eating and food aversions
- Food allergies
- Gastrointestinal conditions
- Chronic illness
- Tube feeding and tube weaning
- Breast and bottle feeding
- Successfully introducing solids
Pip welcomes Private, NDIS and Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) patients. She offers home visits or clinic appointments in New Town.
Pip has recently moved home to Hobart after several years away, studying and working in Melbourne and England. She is a foodie and can often be found at the farmers market or a café, trying new recipes in the kitchen at home, or enjoying the great outdoors with her family.
