Taryn Polonski

Taryn is from Adelaide. She studied Health Sciences at Uni of Adelaide and Master of Nutrition and Dietetics at Flinders Uni. She also did Chef (commercial cookery) training at TAFE after high school.

Taryn took on a new grad position at Royal Adelaide Hospital, this was an invaluable experience and was lucky to work with such inspiring colleagues from all Allied Health disciplines. One of those colleagues is now Nutrition and Dietetics Dept Manager at RHH.

Taryn enjoys all areas of Dietetics from tube feeding and supplements to cooking classes and grocery shopping tours. She is undergoing further training this year (SOS Feeding) to gain additional skills in the area of Paediatric Nutrition.

Taryn has also started a business providing meals (including modified textures for dysphagia) to people who need support with shopping/ preparing/ cooking meals. dietchef.com.au

When Taryn is not in the clinic or doing home visits, she is at home near rural Dover running her business and looking after her garden, chooks and ducks to provide produce!!
